Like so many other people, Christmas just seems to sneak up on me. I find the older I get, at times, it seems like more and more of a chore to put out all the decorations, etc. Having said that, it wasn't full blown Festivus at our place either!
With my Postcrossing account being out of whack to say my mailbox wasn't seeing much action was an understatement. I just accepted it for what it was. It was tempting to try and send a few more cards out hoping they might reach their destinations faster than the slow moving ones I had travelling, however with the general Christmas rush I wasn't taking any chances. Some of my own Christmas cards were taking a bit too long for my liking, why mess with "official" cards too.
I did receive some very lovely Christmas wishes from friends both near and far. With my kids being home and the general happy chaos that is Christmas I made a conscious decision to wait until the tinsel settled to get things posted. So, for the next few days - Ho, Ho, Ho!!!! Hoping 2015 brings you much love, laughter, health and happiness!
