And I'm off....

365 days ago I joined Postcrossing (http://www.postcrossing.com/).

Over the course of the year I have received over 170 "official" postcards and many more through direct swaps other users have initiated with me. Through the various postcards I have received I have discovered many new places I would love to travel and learn more about, and revisited in my mind many that I have been to. I have made new friends, even if it just the good news they have shared with me on the few lines they have written me or the excitement when they acknowledge the "perfect" card I have sent them. Either way the smile they have put on my face may seem short lived but can really set my day up great! It has been quite the learning experience and has on more than one occasion made me realize just how small and humbling this big world really can be.

I have received close to 200 postcards so there will be some catching up to do! I will also attempt to include a scan of the stamps too. By no means am I a collector but wowza some of them are so nice!
