OFFICIAL Card - Taiwan
Julie is a student in Taiwan and sent this card showing one of her favourite Japanese cartoons. No idea what it is called as there is no info on the back. I had asked her, however did not get a reply. Anyone know?
Now that was easy! While I have heard of Studio Ghibli I obviously know nothing but the name lol! My sister is a fan and will probably laugh her head off when she reads this post. Thanks for my introduction to what everyone but me must know ;)
I love the movie My Friend Totoro, in which the grey critter was introduced to the world. Director Miyazaki is very famous worldwide, but of the several movies of his movies I have seen, Totoro is the best. It has also been released as My Neighbor Totoro. Try renting or borrowing it!
OK, it must be that I really am the only one who didn't know this! You will be happy to know that I've ordered the movie from the library and hopefully will have it by the weekend. Maybe I too will be a fan :)
You can see Totoro (the grey "animal) and "Mei and the Kittenbus" from Studio Ghibli. Totoro is the mascot from Ghibli.

ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the pc,

*giggling :)* You should watch "My Neighbour Totoro" classic Miyazake. The kids will probably like it too.
ReplyDeleteTotoro is so cute!
