OFFICIAL Card - Germany

Yes, many of my cards come from Germany. If you can believe it though they are only #3, out beat by USA and The Netherlands. I am not complaining though, each card has been quite different and unique and has taught be something new. This card from late December is from Denise. The map shows the Erzgebirge Region, according to Wikipedia, Erzebirge or The Ore Mountains in Central Europe have formed a natural border between Saxony and Bohemia for many centuries. Today, the border between Germany and the Czech Republic runs just north of the main crest of the mountain range. The balloon flower stamp is one of my favourites - one of the few flowers I have continuous success with in my garden.
